Frequently Asked
Questions
General
What exactly is Presenters Lab?
Presenters Lab is an experimental presentation studio. Not a classical training, but a safe practice place where you learn by daring, doing and sharing. With creative assignments, honest feedforward and a good dose of playfulness.
Who is it for?
For professionals, entrepreneurs, managers, team leaders, speakers, in short: anyone who speaks up more often and wants to do so with more impact, flair, creativity and/or confidence.
What is your training style?
With enthusiasm, connection and attention. We mix structure with creativity, improvisation with reflection. No judgements, just curiosity. No PowerPoint marathons, but personal development.
What makes you different from other presentation training courses?
We don’t start with ‘what should be’, but with who you are. You get space to experiment, make mistakes and discover what really works for you. And we won’t stop until you feel something like: “yes, that’s how I want to present it.”
Trainings
What training courses do you offer?
- Speaking & Presenting (2 days) – about presenting with courage
- Lab (1 day) – about weaving stories into your message
- Lab (in consultation and on request) – about designing and facilitating your own workshop or training
How do you work?
Phew, such an important question requires its own page.
And you will find them here.
How big are the groups?
Maximum 8 participants per training. Small enough for personal attention, large enough for interaction and learning fun.
Do I need to have speaking or presenting experience?
No. But you do have that. Because you speak and therefore present every day 😉
Whether you’re preparing your first presentation or have been speaking to groups for years, we’ll ensure you receive training at your level. The difference in level within the training group makes it diverse and fun. You can learn from each other, and Mark is always able to challenge you at your own level and provide you with appropriate reflection.
What do I take home?
A personal blueprint of your story or session, feedback that you can really use, and above all: more courage and enjoyment to take the stage.
Practical
Where do the training courses take place?
Always at unique, inspiring locations in the Netherlands. Think of a loft, an old factory or a creative breeding ground. The exact location is stated in the agenda for each training session.
How much does a training cost?
- Speaking & Presenting: €999 incl. VAT
- Lab: €529 incl. VAT
- Lab: on request (depending on group and wishes)
What is included?
Lunch, work materials, personal attention and a follow-up check-in after the training.
Can I also book in-company?
Certainly. We then tailor the program to your organization, team or event. Send us a message and we will schedule a no-obligation consultation.
Is there also a program for education?
That one is there too. From ‘how do I present myself’ to ‘pitching at school (and beyond)’. Send us a message and we will schedule a no-obligation consultation and send you a customized proposal.

Doubts & Barriers
“I'm really not a speaker.”
Maybe not. Not yet. But everyone has something to say — it’s all about how. And we will help you with that. Not with tricks, but with a style that suits you.
“I find presenting terrifying.”
You are in good company. Many participants come precisely because they feel tension. The Lab was built as a safe place to practice, stumble, and grow — without embarrassment.
“I'm afraid it will become too vague or too airy-fairy.”
Understandable. But rest assured: we appreciate clear language, a clear structure and honest feedback. With room for creativity, but always with feet on the ground.
“I don't have time.”
I understand. But honestly? Investing one day in your story or presentation will save you hours of worry, procrastination and “if only” thoughts. You get focus and peace in return.
“I want to get better, but not lose myself.”
Precisely. We don’t want that either. You’ll remain you — just with more control, confidence, and joy when it counts.
“I'm afraid I'll be exposed.”
Great classic. And at the same time: no one in the Lab is there to judge you. On the contrary — we build together, out of curiosity. That’s what gives courage.
“I'm still a little hesitant”

Will I get a return on my investment?
Good question. And the honest answer is yes, if you do what you learn.
Learning to speak and present better is a leverage skill. Whether you’re selling ideas, engaging people in a story, or simply want to be more visible: your impact immediately increases your value.
You convince more easily. You will be remembered faster. You dare to speak up more often. And that opens doors for assignments, opportunities, promotions or audiences.
So no, it is not an expense. It’s a strategic investment in how you come across. And it usually pays for itself faster than you think.
