1. Who are we?

Presenters Lab is an initiative of That Guy in Blue (Mark Huis in ‘t Veld) and is located in Roermond. We offer training courses, workshops and presentation programs that help you grow on stage — in a safe and inspiring setting. This also includes careful handling of your personal data.

2. What data do we collect?

If you sign up for a training, contact us or use our services, we collect (part of) the following data:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Organization/company
• Billing information (such as address and VAT number)
• Information about your learning objectives or presentation question
• Any feedback or evaluation after a training

We do not collect unnecessary or sensitive data without your permission.

3. Why do we collect this data?

We use your data to:

• To ensure that your registration and participation in a training course run smoothly
• Send you practical information (such as location and preparation)
• Handle invoicing and administration correctly
• To keep you informed afterwards of updates or follow-up training
• Improve our training based on your input

We only do this when necessary and on the basis of a legal basis: performance of an agreement, legitimate interest or your consent.

4. How long do we keep your data?

We do not store your data longer than necessary:

• Administrative data: 7 years (legal retention obligation)
• Contact details: up to 2 years after last contact, unless you want us to delete them earlier
• Feedback/evaluation: maximum 1 year, anonymized where possible

5. Do we share your data with others?

No. Unless you really have to.

We do not share your data with third parties unless:

• It is necessary for the performance of our services (such as an accountant or hosting party)
• We are legally obliged to do so

We enter into a processing agreement with parties that process data on our behalf.

6. How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your data. Think of secure storage, encrypted connections (SSL) and limited access to data.

7. What are your rights?

You have the right to:

• See what information we have about you
• Have your data changed or deleted
• Object to the use of your data
• Withdraw your consent
• Transferring data to another party (data portability)

We only use functional and analytical cookies on our website that do not infringe on your privacy. No tracking, no retargeting — just clear.
